The Consorzio Costa Smeralda of Porto Cervo this year promotes the second edition of the Costa Smeralda Classic Music Festival called "Martha Argerich & Friends"
The Festival will take place in Porto Cervo from 23 to 29 September 2018.
The guests will be: Martha Argerich, Sergei Nakariakov, Pietro De Maria, Massimo Quarta, Dejan Bogdanovich, Gabriele Vianello, Umberto Benedetti Michelangeli, MArco Zuccarini and the A. Vivaldi Orchestra of Venice.
The program includes the following evenings:
23 September 2018 Bogdanovich Vianello duo Violin and Piano will perform music by Tchaikovsky, Ysaye, Chopin;
25 September 2018 Pietro De Maria piano Umberto Benedetti Michelangeli conductor A. Vivaldi of Venice will perform the 2 concert by F. Chopin for piano and orchestra and the Symphony No. 40 by W. A. Mozart;
September 27, 2018 Martha Argerich piano Sergei Nakariakov trumpet will perform the concert by D. Schostakovich for piano and trumpet conducted by Maestro Marco Zuccarini who will conduct the A. Vivaldi orchestra of Venice in the performance of Grieg's Holdberg Suite;
September 29, 2018 The 1 Paganini Massimo Quarta award as conductor and soloist will perform N. Paganini "I Palpiti" and P. De Sarasate the "Carmen Fantasy" after conducting the Concerto in C Major by FJ Haydn for cello and orchestra with solo Francesco Ferrarini.
